Jim, who has been with CREA since 2004, has 25 years of experience in health, safety and environmental program management. He has taught regulatory rules and compliance as mandated by OSHA, EPA, DOE, DOT, ATF, FCC and numerous other agencies. He has also taught regulatory compliance regarding international health and safety laws. He carries certifications from 17 safety, loss control and environmental organizations including the American Board of Industrial Hygienists and American Society of Safety Engineers and OSHA.

Denise has several years’ experience in regulatory compliance with a large midstream energy company in Denver. She was responsible for submitting filings to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for several natural gas pipelines. In addition, she worked with the state public utility commissions in several states to submit the required filings. Denise holds a MBA from the University of Colorado-Denver.

Employed in the electric utility field for more than 30 years, Mike worked his way up from lineman to manager of operations and construction services. At his Louisiana cooperative, he earned national safety awards while coordinating the safety and training program. Mike has extensive experience teaching and training. He carries extensive certifications from OSHA and NRECA.

Paul brings to CREA over 15 years of experience in the electric utility field at K.C. Electric Association. He graduated from the Electrical Line Worker program at Mesa State College in Grand Junction. He became a journeyman lineman and worked his way up to line superintendent. He has numerous years of teaching and training.

With a degree in environmental hygiene, Travis brings a good deal of hazardous material experience to CREA. He worked as a safety consultant at Lancaster Safety in Pennsylvania and at Clean Harbors in Boulder. He also worked for Array Biopharma in Boulder as a hazardous waste technician.

Trained in law enforcement, Royce offers extensive experience in motor carrier compliance and safety, including a background in accident investigation and hazardous materials monitoring. He taught hazmat classes and was responsible for training local First Responders, including city police, fire, EMS and county sheriff departments.

Joe brings 10 years of experience in compliance and regulatory issues to CREA. His experience includes safety, OSHA construction management and OSHA inspections. He worked on regulatory issues with the California Department of Public Health. He maintains several safety certifications and has a master of science degree from Montana School of Mines in industrial hygiene.

Michael brings 10 years of experience in the electric industry to CREA, including 3-1/2 years as a Safety Coordinator/Trainer. He is certified to train OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA Excavation & Trench Safety and OSHA Fall protection and Fall Protection Equipment Inpection. He also performed accident/incident investigations and root cause analysis and made recommendations for changing work procedures, policies, and/or types of equipment.
