“Lighting the Way to Energy Savings” will be the topic for a day-long workshop at the end of May at Tri-State Generation and Transmission in Westminster.
Electric co-op staff members will benefit from this session looking at commercial lighting strategies provided by Tri-State and Western Area Power Administration.
The workshop is designed for those who support commercial accounts. It will focus on the steps the co-op advisor can take to help the customer understand the benefits of efficiency improvements. Participants will also learn ways to facilitate a closer relationship between the co-op and the customer, and how to help commercial customers achieve energy and demand goals.
The workshop will review common lighting challenges and ways to meet those challenges. There will also be an opportunity to review real-world commercial account scenarios commonly found in rural systems. Participants will leave with reference materials and contact information for on-going support.
